“I am a compassionate therapist who tries to create a safe environment for clients to improve their overall wellbeing.”
What was your path to becoming a therapist?
I became a therapist to help others address the barriers that keep them from reaching their full potential. Working in outpatient mental health settings and community health centers allowed me to gain experience and insight into working collaboratively with diverse clients. I've been trained in many treatment modalities, including integrative care, CBT, DBT, solution-focused, narrative, and family systems. I utilize a mindfulness practice in helping clients toward wellness.
What should someone know about working with you?
I am a compassionate therapist who tries to create a safe environment for clients to improve their overall wellbeing. I use a biopsychosocial approach in the first few sessions and work with clients to collaboratively come up with a plan that meets the individual or family’s needs.
What are you most excited about within the evolving mental health landscape?
I am grateful for the increased use of telehealth services and the opportunities it affords.
