Therapy licenses aren't like driver's licenses — each state has its own set of rules. To offer care, a provider needs to be licensed in the state you're located in when sessions are happening.

Profile
“Together, we will establish goals and I will provide you with the tools needed to achieve a healthier lifestyle.”
What was your path to becoming a therapist?
I’m a licensed clinical therapist with two master’s degrees and I’m affiliated with multiple hospitals. In addition, I founded an OCD and brain injury support group: NYS Brain Injury Association Affiliated. I’ve received multiple honors and have been featured in several publications.
What should someone know about working with you?
Together, we will establish goals and I will provide you with the tools needed to achieve a healthier lifestyle. Each session is centered around you and I will develop an individual plan to meet your needs.
What do you do to continue learning and building competencies as a provider?
I make sure to frequently update my knowledge on the current tools I use, such as CBT, DBT, and exposure response prevention therapy. I always make sure to learn new tools as well so I can provide the best support for my clients. I keep in contact with other mental health providers to stay up-to-date on the current trends and to build a network/team that will help guide you toward your goal.
