Profile
“I have been a psychotherapist for over 25 years specializing in an integrative approach that utilizes the psychology and methodologies of the East and West.”
What was your path to becoming a therapist?
I have been a psychotherapist for over 25 years specializing in an integrative approach that utilizes the psychology and methodologies of the East and West. I have worked within academic settings while working in my own private practice. I have completed training in somatic therapy, nondual therapy, EMDR, and Jungian analysis.
What should someone know about working with you?
For me, therapy is an art and I have an instinct and deep perception to understand the core of what is underneath the presenting issues. I feel confident in my approach to help in direct and applicable ways by addressing all concerns. In three months of weekly therapy, there should be substantial understanding of core issues and methods for relieving suffering; I strongly believe this and have witnessed it.
What do you do to continue learning and building competencies as a provider?
Throughout my career, I have continued to voraciously read, take courses, and complete programs that deepen my knowledge and skills.
How do your own core values shape your approach to therapy?
Everyone's birthright is to experience wholeness and vitality; these concepts and experiences drive my personal life and my work with others.
What are you most excited about within the evolving mental health landscape?
The next wave of therapy is the integration of quantum consciousness and nondual psychotherapy. I am deeply involved in this area and am part of the movement to bring the science and philosophy of conscious living into practicality.
