“As a children’s personal growth coach, I work to help clients achieve great results by helping them to overcome fear, low self-esteem, and anxiety.”
What was your path to becoming a therapist?
The idea of helping others brought me to my career in therapy.
What should someone know about working with you?
Living with depression is like living with a thick fog that rolls into your life and affects everything meaningful in its path. It changes everything about you, including how you think, feel, and function in daily activities. It may have even started interfering with your ability to work, study, eat, sleep, or enjoy life. The people close to you probably have noticed, but they don’t know how to help you and you don’t know how to help yourself. Trying to get through the day is overwhelming and seems like an impossible task. Seeking help from a therapist can seem scary because you want to make sure you choose someone who you truly connect with.
What do you do to continue learning and building competencies as a provider?
I engage in ADHD coaching.
How do your core values shape your approach to therapy?
As a children’s personal growth coach, I work to help clients achieve great results by helping them to overcome fear, low self-esteem, and anxiety. I use multiple modalities of holistic therapy tailored to my clients’ needs and integrate mindfulness whenever possible. I am also a certified disability analyst, forensic evaluator, bariatric counselor, and pre-surgery evaluator.
