What was your path to becoming a therapist?
My path to becoming a therapist came from my own personal struggles and positive experiences as a person in therapy. I chose social work as it really values the person in an environmental stance, understanding the complexity and multitude of systems that a person belongs to.

I will follow your lead and be transparent throughout the process; I believe that it is only through a genuine and authentic approach that true change can happen.
What do you do to continue learning and building competencies as a provider?
I am currently completing my PhD in social work. My dissertation focuses on the areas of grief, loss, and bereavement.
