What was your path to becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker?

I have always known that social work was my life’s work. My path began in high school with volunteer work at a county hospital and continued to grow through college with a variety of social work experiences. I have social work experience with school, family, community, hospital, juvenile, and prison systems. I have always been passionate about the impact systems have on lives and acknowledge this in my clinical work. My 20+ years of being a licensed clinical social worker are framed by solution-focused and strength-based interventions to help individuals improve their lives.
