Profile
“I believe in working with clients who are transparent, honest, and committed to the counseling process.”
What was your path to becoming a therapist?
I once read a book by Terri Cole-Whitaker called, What You Think of Me is None of My Business. It wasn't until I read this book that I was freed from a life of trauma, depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder. Since reading this book, it has been my goal to work with individuals to provide them with tools to live a life free from the mental health issues holding them back from living THEIR happy life.
What should someone know about working with you?
I believe in working with clients who are transparent, honest, and committed to the counseling process. I pride myself on teaching my clients strategies from day one that alleviate the pain and suffering they are feeling. I believe we can all live satisfying lives, and I work to instill hope and happiness in all people through the strategies and tools I provide within the counseling process.
What are you most excited about within the evolving mental health landscape?
I am excited that mental health issues have been brought to the forefront and the stigma of seeking help is decreasing. I am most excited that individuals have so many options to access mental health counseling, such as virtual therapy.
