Profile
“While working on my master’s degree, I became involved with the LGBTQ+ community, working as a clinician on the trans team.”
What was your path to becoming a therapist?
I completed my bachelor’s degree in psychology at the State University of New York at Albany in 2013. I then went on to complete my master’s in marriage and family at Falk College at Syracuse University and earned an advanced certificate in child therapy in 2018. While working on my master’s degree, I became involved with the LGBTQ+ community, working as a clinician on the trans team. My work with the trans team involved specialized sensitivity training to better serve my clients.
What should someone know about working with you?
My practice is all online so all sessions are done by video or phone.
What do you do to continue learning and building competencies as a provider?
I am constantly reading new information about the topic of trauma. I am also part of a couple different consultation groups and receive supervision regularly to help me continue to grow as a clinician.
