Therapy is most powerful when client+therapist have warm regard. I enjoy getting to know my clients & will always be enthusiastic about their success.
My journey in the health field started in 2011 as a volunteer group facilitator for survivors of intimate partner violence and childhood abuse. My experience with Yes I CAN cemented my interest in the mental health field and confirmed what I always knew: I was meant to be in this profession. I went on to obtain my substance abuse counselor certificate from the University of the Pacific so I could continue to help those in need. My love for this work prompted me to pursue higher education to become a therapist. I graduated with an MA in clinical psychology in 2017 from Antioch University. Throughout my education, I gained eight years of experience working in the community health setting as an employment specialist, case manager, and therapist before making the move to private practice. My training in cognitive behavioral therapy allows me to help individuals manage their experiences with anxiety, depression, and trauma.
