Profile
“My personal experiences have shaped me into a counselor who is not only compassionate but also one who cares deeply for others.”
What was your path to becoming a therapist?
Becoming a counselor was something I was born to do; even when I didn't choose counseling, it chose me. From a very young age, I was able to relate to others in a profound way that made them feel comfortable enough to open up and be their most authentic selves. My personal experiences have shaped me into a counselor who is not only compassionate but also one who cares deeply for others.
What should someone know about working with you?
I am a firm believer in meeting people where they are. Clients must know that counseling is a process that requires work on their part. I am here to guide my client through the journey of self-discovery, accountability, and growth toward revealing a better and healthier version of themselves.
What are you most excited about within the evolving mental health landscape?
I am super excited that mental health awareness is finally being taken seriously on a grand scale. It is no longer something that is whispered about but instead is being talked about openly now more than ever before. We are acquiring allies in a large way through the public figures speaking out on a global scale. I am proud to be a mental health professional.
