Profile
“I have learned lessons on dealing with the human condition and holding space for others who are hurting.”
What was your path to becoming a therapist?
Being a licensed mental health practitioner is my first career. I have experience working with the public in retail in the past. I have learned lessons on dealing with the human condition and holding space for others who are hurting.
What should someone know about working with you?
I use an eclectic mix of counseling modalities, such as cognitive behavioral therapy and REBT, along with mindfulness techniques, such as breathwork and meditation, to calm the autonomic nervous system.
What are you most excited about within the evolving mental health landscape?
I am most excited about more people being able to access mental health and wellness through technology and online sessions using computers, tablets, or phones. This access allows us to seek help even when on the job, taking a lunch break, traveling the backroads, or living the dream in an RV. Help, nowadays, is just a click away!
