“I will always have the client's best interest in mind in everything I do and say.”
What was your path to becoming a therapist?
My father was a psychiatrist who was known for his professional integrity and his genuine concern for his clients. He was also known for his ability to understand them and help them. I believe it is my father's inspiration and the personal growth work I have done and continue to do on myself every day that drives me and makes me passionate about helping others.
What should someone know about working with you?
I will always have the client's best interest in mind in everything I do and say. I will be straight-forward but kind.
What do you do to continue learning and building competencies as a provider?
I am constantly learning so that I can provide my clients with the latest and most helpful information. I have trained in the Gottman Method in marital and family therapy and I was trained in — and continue to train in — EMDR. I have additional training and certification in sex addiction treatment as well as a certificate in multiple addictions therapy with an emphasis in financial disorders.
