Profile
“I have worked in outpatient and hospital settings that have fostered my growth and allowed me to gain experiences that have shaped the therapist that I am today.”
What was your path to becoming a therapist?
My path to becoming a therapist began as a result of wanting to understand how our conscious and unconscious thoughts and behaviors affect our daily lives. I've always had a strong interest in people, their backgrounds/environments, and how they are shaped as a result. These deep interests led me to pursue a degree in social work as well as training that has aided in understanding people in their environments. I have worked in outpatient and hospital settings that have fostered my growth and allowed me to gain experiences that have shaped the therapist that I am today.
What should someone know about working with you?
Therapy is a collaborative process that begins with an understanding of each person's uniqueness and their goals for therapy. I create a safe and supportive environment that is conducive to your growth, giving you a deeper understanding of self in order to help attain your goals.
What are you most excited about within the evolving mental health landscape?
I am most excited about telehealth and the ability for people to have access to a resource that was not readily available before. Telehealth provides convenience and allows people more flexibility in terms of scheduling and being able to choose an environment that is comfortable for them.
