“My clinical focus is on helping you reach your personal potential and achieve your desired goals.”
What was your path to becoming a therapist?
I have always had a calling to help others and a desire to assist individuals to flourish in their lives as they reach their full desired potential. I have worked in a variety of settings over the years that include outpatient mental health centers, substance abuse clinics, and private practice settings where I provided end-of-life, grief, and hospice counseling. I believe my diverse experience, genuine compassion, and enthusiasm for helping others allows me to ensure that your self-growth occurs in a safe environment as we navigate the complexities and obstacles you may be facing in your life and desire to overcome.
What should someone know about working with you?
Making the decision to enter into therapy can be a daunting and at times a scary undertaking but, rest assured, this is a time for self-growth and positivity. My clinical focus is on helping you reach your personal potential and achieve your desired goals. I believe in a person-centered approach, which means that WE work together in the process of therapy toward formalizing your desired treatment goals for self-growth.
How do your own core values shape your approach to therapy?
I believe that therapy is a journey of change and, along that journey, I am here to support you with various evidenced-based modalities that promote the self-growth you desire and create a space in which you feel safe and comfortable to grow.
