Profile
“I have experience working with individuals with mental health and substance use disorders.”
What was your path to becoming a therapist?
Much of my work has been at a nonprofit community mental health center where I worked with adolescents and adults. I have experience working with individuals with mental health and substance use disorders.
What should someone know about working with you?
The intake is 60-minutes and includes a comprehensive assessment that covers topics such as your mental health, substance use, and medical history. We will then work together to create a treatment plan that includes the goals you would like to address in therapy. These goals may change throughout the therapy process as needed.
What do you do to continue learning and building competencies as a provider?
I am constantly learning as much as I can about the field of mental health and substance abuse. I frequently attend classes to receive continuing education units on emerging trends and best practices in my field.
How do your own core values shape your approach to therapy?
I believe that our feelings and experiences are valid and deserve to be expressed freely and without judgment.
