“I believe that therapy can be an incredible way to help remove the stumbling blocks that are interfering with personal growth and happiness.”
What was your path to becoming a therapist?
Over time, I realized that therapy could help you gain great insight and give you skills that allow you to live a peaceful, meaningful, and content life. I have worked in a variety of settings over the years, including an outpatient psychiatric day treatment program, a community mental health clinic, an inpatient psychiatric setting, and a women's health clinic, all of which have informed my practice today. I have pursued training in various therapeutic modalities so that I can best help my patients: I have completed the Intensive Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Program at the William Alanson White Institute and am trained in trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy. My practice is further informed by my experience working with patients during the perinatal period, which has helped me hone my skills in addressing perinatal mood and anxiety disorders.
