What was your path to becoming a mental health provider?

Growing up, I was deeply affected by loved ones struggling with alcohol and substance abuse. This experience inspired me to become a therapist so I could support others facing similar challenges. Throughout my career, I have provided therapy for children and families, adults transitioning out of homelessness, and individuals recovering from trauma. I have also worked in substance abuse treatment centers and residential facilities for children with behavioral challenges.
