Profile
“I primarily work with teenagers, young adults, and adults struggling with anxiety, depression, identity issues, body image issues, eating disorders, self-harm, and life transitions.”
What was your path to becoming a therapist?
I have been working in private practice for several years in the Orlando area and before that, I worked at a residential eating disorder treatment center for a year. I primarily work with teenagers, young adults, and adults struggling with anxiety, depression, identity issues, body image issues, eating disorders, self-harm, and life transitions. I specialized in art therapy during my master's program so I can integrate the arts into your treatment if it is something that will assist your process.
What should someone know about working with you?
I try to create unique experiences for each client and base what is done in session on each client's needs.
What are you most excited about within the evolving mental health landscape?
I love the evolution of telehealth and the much wider use and acceptance of it. I personally have seen a decrease in late cancellations. I can have the client easily switch to a virtual session, so they can still receive treatment even if they forgot to drive to my office.
