“I believe in following a client’s lead and meeting them where they are on their journey while working with them to get to where they want to be.”
What was your path to becoming a therapist?
I am very passionate about being a support and helping others navigate their way through difficult situations while maintaining a focus on their deepest wants and desires. I believe that growth occurs when one feels supported toward being the best version of themselves. My specialized trainings include becoming a certified clinical trauma professional, practice-focused training in complicated grief treatment, and compassion fatigue for healthcare, mental health, and caring professionals.
What should someone know about working with you?
I believe in following a client’s lead and meeting them where they are on their journey while working with them to get to where they want to be. I provide a person-centered environment that is filled with understanding and compassion.
What are you most excited about within the evolving mental health landscape?
I am most excited about the new outlook and narrative tied to the receipt of mental health services, including the affirmations, the discipline, the support, and the newly discovered coping techniques that individuals, families, and helping professionals have begun to utilize in their day-to-day. I am also excited by the accountability and willingness to address traumatic experiences in order to live a more fulfilling life.
