“I guide you toward feeling confident and motivated, gaining self-awareness, and maintaining a healthy relationship with yourself and others.”
What was your path to becoming a therapist?
As a Latinx therapist, I feel strongly that we heal most effectively when treated as a whole person instead of as a diagnosis, a trauma, or a bunch of symptoms. Having the openness to unlearn unhelpful patterns that keep appearing in your life is key to acceptance. I believe that therapy should be accessible so I created a virtual practice with the goal of helping others grow, heal, and learn acceptance. I guide you toward feeling confident and motivated, gaining self-awareness, and maintaining a healthy relationship with yourself and others. As an artist, a lover of mindfulness, and a writer, I hope to assist you in finding the tools that help you live your best life. I work best with those who are open to change, who struggle with their wellness, who want to develop coping skills, who want to quiet negative core beliefs, and who are ready to unlearn the habits that don’t work for them. I am glad that you are here; taking this step shows your determination to cultivating your wellbeing.
What should someone know about working with you?
Together, we will find the right solutions that work for you all while you are in a safe, judgment-free zone; I believe these are critical components to healing. I provide individual psychotherapy to residents of Florida and New York who are struggling in different areas. When you contact me, I will make time within 24 hours to have a brief phone call with you to determine the next steps.
How do your own core values shape your approach to therapy?
My core values surround honesty and empathy and these really do shape the direction of my practice. Through my own self-work, I learned that my empathy and compassion are my biggest strengths. As your therapist, I place a high value on being my true self with you. I absolutely love watching clients blossom and I look forward to helping you find answers relevant to your own experiences. I am looking forward to helping you on the journey toward more acceptance.
