Profile
“My vision is to achieve joy between couples by guiding them toward their highest potential to reach and sustain their optimum level of love, romance, passion, and emotional and sexual intimacy.”
What was your path to becoming a practitioner?
I pursued a five-year doctoral program in the Department of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School and received diplomate credentialing from the American Psychotherapy Association.
What should someone know about working with you?
My vision is to achieve joy between couples by guiding them toward their highest potential to reach and sustain their optimum level of love, romance, passion, and emotional and sexual intimacy. I enjoy working with all people and assign activities occasionally.
Have you done any research-based work that you found particularly exciting? How does it inform your practice today?
I am known for my research on romantic love and encourage the enhancement of intimacy in interpersonal relationships. In addition to healthy, romantic, and loving relationships, I also enjoy working with parent-child issues, other forms of relationship issues, and individual issues. I have studied and attended numerous conferences on migraine headaches and have also studied breast cancer. To give back to the community, I facilitated a weekly breast cancer support group for women and their partners at the Boca Raton Regional Hospital and the West Boca Medical Center.
