“Due to my compassionate nature, people feel comfortable asking for advice.”
What was your path to becoming a therapist?
As a young adult, I oftentimes found myself confided in by family members, campers, friends, and even neighbors. Due to my compassionate nature, people feel comfortable asking for advice. Pursing a degree in social work enabled me to help others on a professional level. As a social worker, I am privileged to witness the transformation that takes place through the therapy process.
What should someone know about working with you?
I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation. Sessions are once a week for a duration of 45-minutes. Each session is goal-oriented and tailor-made to fit the client's needs. Homework is provided if warranted.
What do you do to continue learning and building competencies as a provider?
I attend webinars and in-person training in addition to collaborating with other therapists.
What quote reflects the therapy you offer?
“The bend in the road is not the end of the road unless you fail to make the turn." - Helen Keller
“As a social worker, I am privileged to witness the transformation that takes place through the therapy process.”
