Akua Genfi is a Black, fat, queer, and seasoned licensed mental health professional who believes in the power of identity, community, and healing through nurturing connections. Akua has 10 years of experience working with adults in all stages of care. Akua takes a holistic, cultural, and trauma-informed approach in her work as a provider, professor, and mental health leader.
