Profile
“To grow stronger and be the best version of ourselves, we need an outlet to release and explore our daily lives.”
What was your path to becoming a therapist?
I studied at NYU to complete my clinical training and received my MSW. I have committed my practice to working with people experiencing trauma and life difficulties. My education continued by earning a certificate in advanced clinical practice. Through my education and several years of practice, I continue to grow my skills in the ever-evolving world of therapeutic services. A quote by Lao Tzu that continues to motivate my practice is as follows: "If you are depressed, you are living in the past. If you are anxious, you are living in the future. If you are at peace, you are living in the present.”
What should someone know about working with you?
My style uses an eclectic mix of modalities, including CBT, DBT, narrative treatment, IPT, MI, and much more. Combining therapeutic techniques that are based on individual need has created much success in treatment.
What are you most excited about within the evolving mental health landscape?
I believe that every person needs a safe space to explore and process life. To grow stronger and be the best version of ourselves, we need an outlet to release and explore our daily lives. The beauty of therapy is that it is confidential and a completely safe space for you to be yourself.
