What was your path to becoming a clinical social worker?
I am a licensed clinical social worker with a telehealth practice open to individuals in California and New York. I have over a decade of experience in the field. Prior to opening my private practice, I worked at community-based mental health centers and a rehab clinic.
What should someone know about working with you?
I specialize in anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and parenting. I am an eclectic therapist using a combination of techniques that I tailor to the individual. These techniques include gestalt, client-centered, solution-focused, and a variety of evidence-based trauma treatment modalities, including eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), the trauma resiliency model (TRM), and mindfulness.
What do you do to continue learning and building competencies as a provider?
I work with new parents and am trained in Yale’s pioneering parent-based approach, supportive parenting for anxious childhood emotions (SPACE).
