“I enjoy working with clients who are dedicated to getting the most out of their sessions.”
What was your path to becoming a therapist?
In my history as a therapist, I started out working with clients dealing with addiction and realized that trauma was fueling their addictive behaviors. That’s when I decided to work primarily with trauma in order to help my clients get to the root cause of their behavior.
What should someone know about working with you?
I enjoy working with clients who are dedicated to getting the most out of their sessions. Active participation during your appointments and a willingness to do the work outside of session really help you reach your goals.
What do you do to continue learning and building competencies as a provider?
I continue to stay up-to-date on the current research and developments in the EMDR field. I also love learning more about the Enneagram on a personal level as well as when working with my clients.
How do your core values shape your approach to therapy?
I don’t think I’d survive without new experiences and traveling. Meeting new people and learning about different cultures helps me see how interconnected the world really is.
