Profile
“I make all efforts to learn about my client and join their journey to a more productive and fulfilling self.”
What was your path to becoming a therapist?
I have over 15 years of experience working with clients with a wide range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, and parenting problems. I enjoy working with and welcome diverse populations. I find that my experience working with diverse and disadvantaged populations opened up many avenues for contributing to society by touching the lives of so many in various ways.
What should someone know about working with you?
I make all efforts to learn about my client and join their journey to a more productive and fulfilling self.
How do your own core values shape your approach to therapy?
I believe rapport building, transparency, and allowing clients to feel emotionally and mentally safe are essential elements to any successful therapeutic relationship. These are the core values that I hold true to my therapeutic approach and practice. I encourage clients to gain a greater sense of self and nurture their strengths. Calming the mind and relaxing the body are effective tools in changing the narrative in one’s life. I assist with this by incorporating mechanisms, such as mindfulness, effective communication exercises, and role playing of potential problematic situations.
