“I support a process of compassionate, contemplative inquiry; as unanswered beliefs unwind, true understanding is aroused.”
What should someone know about working with you?
I spend as much time as necessary in the first session to learn about a person's needs and allow them to learn about me as a therapist. I will at times assign homework to help the client stay connected to the process. I support a process of compassionate, contemplative inquiry; as unanswered beliefs unwind, true understanding is aroused. The client will find more quality in their relationships (including the one with themselves) during times of ease and times of difficulty. Clarity of vision begets clarity of action.
What do you do to continue learning and building competencies as a provider?
I follow the State requirements for CEUs; I am also committed to a lifelong effort to learn as much as possible about my trade. I am associated with various professional groups that promote the value of learning and partnership.
How do your core values shape your approach to therapy?
My core values are honesty, integrity, family and the value in knowing that we connect through what is similar and we grow through what is different.
“Clarity of vision begets clarity of action.”
