Profile
“My clients often need help strengthening their relationships, getting over devastating breakups, and sorting through their history of relational trauma.”
What was your path to becoming a therapist?
When I was 30 years old, I had to file for divorce and instantly became a single mom of two toddlers; I felt like I was on a constant rollercoaster ride! I had no idea what to do next. Most of my friends were married, and I felt like no one understood what I was going through. I was petrified, distraught, devastated, and felt like a failure. I had trouble eating and sleeping but I tried my best to hold it together for my kids. I know how much strength it takes to reach out for the help you need. Many years ago, I took that leap of faith, started individual therapy, and joined a women’s separation and divorce group. That’s why I want to share what I’ve learned along my journey with you. Let’s work together to help you rebuild your life.
What should someone know about working with you?
My clients often need help strengthening their relationships, getting over devastating breakups, and sorting through their history of relational trauma. I can help you enhance communication, defuse defensiveness, and heal childhood wounds. Using a variety of treatment modalities, I’ll meet you where you are and match your readiness to help facilitate your growth.
