“I am passionate about the process of helping clients become the most authentic versions of themselves, as I believe this leads to self-worth, healthy relationships, and a sense of fulfillment.”
What was your path to becoming a therapist?
I am passionate about working with people and motivated by being of service. I have worked in a group private practice setting and an outpatient substance use rehab facility.
What should someone know about working with you?
I work with clients dealing with substance use (as well as family members of those using substances), codependency, anxiety, and general mental health. I work collaboratively with clients and assign homework if beneficial.
How do your core values shape your approach to therapy?
My core values of compassion, usefulness, honesty, authenticity, and connection with others are integrated into my sessions with clients. The work I have done, and continue to do, on my own mental and emotional health allows me to be a clear channel for helping clients. I am passionate about the process of helping clients become the most authentic versions of themselves, as I believe this leads to self-worth, healthy relationships, and a sense of fulfillment. I create a nonjudgmental space for clients to strengthen their inner resources through awareness and self-acceptance.
What are you most excited about within the evolving mental health landscape?
I am passionate about treating addiction and learning about the impact of addiction on family members and how this shapes patterns of dependency.
