Profile
“I was drawn to this career path because I am an empath and have always been a helper personality type.”
What was your path to becoming a therapist?
Counseling is my first career choice. I was drawn to this career path because I am an empath and have always been a helper personality type. I have worked both in inpatient and outpatient settings.
What should someone know about working with you?
My intake process is primarily about getting to know the client and exploring goals and expectations for therapy. Progress can look different based on the client. I work with all types of clients, including the LGBTQ 🏳️‍🌈 community.
How do your core values shape your approach to therapy?
I was raised in a church that my family owns and this has impacted my worldview significantly. However, I am culturally-aware and very open-minded as a mental health clinician.
What are you most excited about within the evolving mental health landscape?
I am excited about telehealth because you can help people all around the world without them leaving home.
