Mavis Smith, LCSW, is the Founder and CEO of Chasing Serenity Psychotherapy. A second-generation Caribbean American psychotherapist, she has provided clinical services across New York in diverse settings, including Brooklyn Family Court as a forensic social worker, psychiatric emergency rooms, emergency departments, and medical-surgical units.
