“I use an eclectic approach to psychotherapy to meet my client’s needs.”
What was your path to becoming a therapist?
I started my career as an elementary school teacher and pursued an advanced degree to become a school psychologist. I have been working with children for more than 10 years. Although I love working with children and adolescents, I decided I wanted a change and expanded my practice to also include adults and families.
What should someone know about working with you?
I use an eclectic approach to psychotherapy to meet my client’s needs. Incorporating multiple treatment methods allows me to adapt and meet my clients’ individual goals and preferences.
What do you do to continue learning and building competencies as a provider?
I enjoy learning new approaches to treat my clients. I am part of an organization that brings mental health care providers the latest development in therapeutic approaches and technology.
