What was your path to becoming a therapist?
I am currently a New York City Firefighter and have always believed in the power of helping others. My journey into therapy started from a desire to help others by forming connections and learning about their experiences.
What should someone know about working with you?
We explore thoughts and feelings about your upbringing during the intake process and look at how your formative years shaped who you are today.
What do you do to continue learning and building competencies as a provider?
By engaging in continuing education seminars and conferences, I am constantly taking part in the learning process. As times change, people change. There continues to be new research on the development of the self and how we cope.
