Valerie Ahl

Valerie Ahl is a licensed clinical psychologist. Her PhD is in developmental psychology from the University of California at Berkeley. She also breeds and raises horses. Working with children and animals has helped her understand emotions and trauma reactions, without relying on language. She is trained by the VA in cognitive processing therapy (CPT) and CBT for substance use.
