Profile
“My core values in life and therapeutic work are gratitude, humility, and respect.”
What was your path to becoming a therapist?
Growing up with my father who was a child psychologist, I learned from a young age the power of communication. He was a big influence on where I drew my passion for helping people. I then channeled this passion into 10 years of working in social services. There, I was exposed to the depths of trauma and the human need to resolve unresolved issues.
What should someone know about working with you?
Therapy can be messy but if you trust the process and put in the work, the rewards can be amazing! I only ask for mutual respect of time and dedication to your growth.
How do your own core values shape your approach to therapy?
My core values in life and therapeutic work are gratitude, humility, and respect. The therapeutic relationship can largely be one-sided but it’s always an honor for me to be given the privilege to unravel unresolved issues. I may not always know exactly what you're experiencing as a person but with nonjudgmental positive regard, we can work together to get you to the other side.
