“You will develop a deeper understanding of your inner self and be guided to success and empowerment.”
What was your path to becoming a therapist?
I always wanted to work in a helping profession and knew from a young age that this was my purpose and destiny. I came from a family impacted by the trauma of the Holocaust. I have experienced much pain and vulnerability in my life, which has given me immense resilience, insight, empathy, and an in-depth understanding of people and culture. I believe that life is not just about survival; it is about actualizing your dreams and reaching your full potential. I lost a child about 20 years ago, so I have a deep understanding of trauma, grief, and bereavement. I am a single mom with six children and grandchildren. I am very involved with singles and the dating world. I have a deep understanding of the challenges of relationships, parenthood, divorce, and single parenting. I successfully run three businesses. I was a CEO of a nonprofit organization that helped people in crisis and included a hotline and a network of 50 liaison agencies. I also trained graduate and postgraduate students to assist members of the community. I have undergraduate degrees in psychology and education, a graduate degree in clinical social work, and additional postgraduate, skill-based certifications. Aside from my clinical license, I have an “R”, which is the best form to assure you reimbursements for your health costs.
What should someone know about working with you?
I will carefully select the appropriate therapy method suited to your unique personality and circumstances. I will then help you to remove negative thought processes that no longer serve you and replace them with new, successful solutions to your present issue. You will develop a deeper understanding of your inner self and be guided to success and empowerment. The purpose of therapy is to help you to achieve the best possible outcomes while eliminating troubling symptoms so that you can fulfill your desires and meet your goals. I will spend time getting to know you in a safe, comfortable, and nonjudgmental environment. Once I fully understand your unique personality and life circumstances, we will carefully select the most appropriate therapy technique for your individual needs.
