“Together, we will find where the disconnect is between what you want and what you are currently receiving.”
What was your path to becoming a therapist?
I received my master’s in advanced clinical practice with individuals, families, and groups. I previously worked in a variety of different settings, from a mental health and substance abuse outpatient clinic to an alternative high school and foster care. My passion now lies in the work I do with YOU to discover YOUR authentic self. Together, we will find where the disconnect is between what you want and what you are currently receiving. I will help you become more aware of the messages our bodies are constantly sending us, as they store every experience we go through, from the bad to the good. With me as your therapist, you will feel more present, grounded, and aligned with your sense of self. So, take that leap of faith you’ve been wanting to take and let’s collectively begin this healing process together!
What should someone know about working with you?
My goal is to meet you wherever you are on your journey to a more meaningful and mindful life. I believe the world needs more of who we were all meant to be. My treatment approach will help you gain insight into the connection among your emotions, thoughts, physical experiences, and spiritual understandings. In order to support your optimal daily functioning, all of these components need to work together in harmony. So, if you’re feeling out of alignment, that is where I come in. I can help you build a deeper understanding of your whole self by utilizing various client-centered interventions within a strengths-based approach.
Can you explain more about the treatment modality you provide from a holistic perspective?
My holistic treatment approach is beneficial for individuals who want to build a deeper understanding of the whole self. Ultimately, this leads to an improvement of self-awareness, self-esteem, self-efficacy, and self-acceptance. I offer psychoeducational sessions for clients to understand what is going on internally versus externally. To solve problems holistically, we start by looking for the root cause. My goal is to help clients acknowledge, accept, and adjust to the present moment. Once this acceptance is achieved, we are able to let go of any resistance, which allows us to relax and release any fears. Everyone’s growth looks different, but we all have the seed within to start somewhere. Meet me here in vulnerability and together, we will find the bridge.
